How To Dress 10 pounds Slimmer

Christmas is around the corner, a few wedding invitation need to be attend, family gathering and more function to come. The good thing is I would be able to dress up for the upcoming events and party but the bad thing is...I'am gaining a few pounds after giving birth!! and the weight stay there until now(17 months had passed since I was giving birth). To start a diet plan and exercising is not going to help on hiding the bulge since dieting takes time . It might takes 2 to 3 months to get the result and I only have 3 more weeks to go!!I am desperately need to hide all the unwanted bulges and dress confidently in front of others.
And it's just the right timing I found this site on how to dress 10 pounds slimmer..well I hope this trick would works for me later.:)

Trim Your Tummy
Reach for your empire waist dresses or blouse so that it would draw the attention away from the bulging tummy.Pair with straight leg pants or jeans.Stick with dark solid colors to stay looking slim.Don't wear anything which can draw attention to your waistline.

Slim your behind
Boot-cut and straight leg jeans with darker shades always do wonders on creating a slimmer butt.

Disguised un-toned arms
My arms is flabby but I never a fan on wearing a three-quarter-length sleeves but probably I might give it a try for a dinner reception.
Cinching a belt above your waistline always do a wonder to draw away attention from the arms.

Streamline Chunky Thighs
Go for a flat and simple pants.. excessive detailing would making your  thighs more noticeable.
I don't really go for this style, I prefer to wear a full length knee dress and cinch the belt up to below the chest line.

Downplay a large bust.
I wont be needing this since this is the only part which didn't tag along with the others.lol!
But according from the site, bra fitting is important to make em' looks thinner and making your torso leaner.

Now off to the closet  in hoping to find a few similar outfits to wear soon!!

Another Monday

How am I feeling today?
Not good..I've been procrastination most of the tasks this morning, spending more time on wondering "What if I...???
Totally not in a motivate mode at all..:(.

Anyways, hours went by and I feel much better.

Hubby made us an energy booster which deliciously yummy and refreshing.
Mixes of red and green apples, orange, grapes and cucumber(no sugar added) ends up it taste like a watermelon juice!

And this was our lunch for today.
Anchovies mix with cabbage..Ava's favorite dish.

Happy Monday Everyone..God Bless!

Ooh by the way, to all the cloth diapering mamas who happen to stop by at my humble blog, Eli Monster cloth diaper is selling at EverythingBabyThing.
I have two of these and truly impressed by the workmanship and the absorbency of the minky felt diaper.Very cushy and fluffy!!

MMR Shot and Kinderpack..(No more Enable pls!!)

Finally after have been delayed for almost 5 months, Ava got her MMR(Immunization against measles, mumps and rubella) shot today. She was desperately trying to get away from the doctor during the check up and started to cry miserably when the nurse put her on the bed. As usual I was not strong enough looking the needle was being poked Ava's thigh and let hubby in charge of her. Ava was crying and looking at the doctor with her tears streaming down her cheeks. She stopped crying when I nursed her outside while waiting for the prescription when suddenly she started to cry all over again after checking/looking at the wailing baby behind us. I quickly put her inside the carrier and she slowly calm down and snuggle inside getting ready to have her nap..fuhh!!Just in time for the carrier to give some helping hand.

In a different note, finally my Kinderpack SSC arrived safely after it nearly and almost get a tax charges by the Malaysia customs!Luckily Lisa come to the rescue and with her good PR communication  towards the custom officer, my carrier was finally free from any charges!!Thanks a lot dear!!

I love the strap which felt comfy and cushy. The standard strap just fit nice on me hence no web digging around my under arm.
At first I was concern about a hip strain since a few mama voice out about their hip was getting strain because of the "seat" alike design on the carrier which left a gap within their body and baby.
But all I could feel right until this time is the feeling of comfyness and style ;).
Comparison between Kanga XT and Kinderpack?
I love both of them and they are beautiful carriers indeed.
I do have a small wish though,
I wish that the Kinderpack waist pad has the same structured like the Kanga waist pad and Kanga shoulder straps similar to Kinderpack's.
I 'm guessing when this two combine together it would become a complete SSC heaven! But well probably it's just me..:).and probably other mamas wished that too!

I've been eyeing another brand of SSC(Gosh when this ever going to stop!) but I would put it on hold right now  since there's a lot more commitment need to be accomplished.
Right now I am happy to have owned some beautiful carriers and helping me the most when I needed it.

Lack of Style, Is that a crime?

Admiring at my newly bought wedges made me thinking,"When I looked back to the previous one I bought, I always ends up choosing a design either with the same pattern or color ".

Look at this,
These brown sandals meant for a workhorse used aka hiking and running errands.

And since I found out I would never again getting comfortable with my heels when attending any functions.(Imagine running and tagging your toddler inside and outside the ballroom hotel wearing a high heels,it's a nightmare!!)
This heels has done her service well and I am truly love on how tall I look and how I felt sexy when putting this on!Unfortunately my dear, you will be placing safely inside the box to make way for the new one.

So I decided to buy another one which I find the most comfort when wearing it and loving the style.I can even run with it without any sprain ankle.
(I wish the wedges comes with different color tho  but there's only one available.)

Yet I am wondering the design had similarity with my previous one but only this is 2 inches taller.Doesn't that prove I am lacking a sense of style?:((
But as what my other half said."Trust me, your feet looks perfect with this one of a kind. "
Finally..I just rest my case..:))......

Babywearing An Older Child (1 year old and above)

Carrying my 1 years old Ava. We knew she totally enjoying the ride just by looking at her gaily face.

Babywearing And Multitasking
Baywatch-ing the cousins swimming while babywearing.
(Absolutely no jumping in the water when someone asking for help!!)

Hubby woke up one day and said we are both filthy loaded with toxin, I say what…..?!!!!???!!!!!
The next day we were signed up for a product demo at a “health centre”, somewhere at a residential area, huh? What?
It was a great demo, even Ava liked it. The lady basically prepared for us a fruit+vege smoothie, prune cake, peanut butter and a multigrain drink all in under ½ hrs… we were full including Ava who keep on asking for more prunecake with peanut butter and multi grain drink.
I feel like a super woman, I can do the above recipe and more just with one simply powerful food processor /blender. Little do I know what hubby have in mind.
After 2 days sleeping on the idea we went back to get “the” food processor.  On the way back home, wait we made a few stop over, buying apples and oranges and; pineapples and papayas and; sawi and bakchoi; and a lot of lime. I was thinking “who is going to eat all these”
Hubby was so excited, he browse youtube and a lot of detox webpage, top on the list the trusted Mercola.com to get recipes for fruit+vege smoothies, the next thing you know he is in the kitchen, cleaning the vegie and cutting the fruits, dividing them into morning, afternoon and dinner portion.
And out of the kitchen, two glass of cold and refreshing fruit juice… WOW nice…
The thing is by the next day the juice get greener and greener and by the 3rd day the juice is plain dark green… Oh no… what have I got myself into… for one I am not a veggie person, I only eat veggie with belacan, no belacan me no eating veggie…

Today is the 7th day we are on vegiefrutt smoothies, 3 times a day for 7 days of vegiefrutt…..
After more research Hubby is now thinking if we should we get a Juicer (Omega 8003)???!!!!!! I will need to take a deep breath and see if I can dive with him on this.

P/S : Yesterday we went out and I bought three pcs of different type of taste Secret Recipe cakes(I was having sugar deprivation after 1 week detoxifying with raw veggies!!). One down, 2 more to go..I am heavenly eating  pumpkin cheese cake while writing this post.yummy!!!...

"It is impossible to do everything people want you to do. You have just enough time to do God's will. If you can't get it all done, it means you're trying to do more than God intended for you to do, or possibly that you're wasting your time in some way. Purpose-driven living leads to a simpler lifestyle and a saner schedule."
For the 1st time after reading the above quote, I feel at peace.

I can see it clearly now it is crystal clear ; We are still able to live healthily and peacefully without compromising  on our so called possessions. The possession would only provide temporary happiness because things do not change, we eventually become bored with them and then want a newer, bigger, better version.
Last weekend, I met a wonderful person who reminded me that life is not that all complicated. All of us tend to forget the common sense of life. We keep on searching for the complicated things thus we forget the basic things which actually bring us the true happiness.
Love, Faith and Hope.

Happy Monday!!!
